Vintage MINK fur shrug white One Size Women's bridal wedding holiday

Color is white (see scale below). Overall condition is Excellent (see table below).

There are no rips, tears, or odors. Regarding color, pretty much all vintage white mink will start to yellow a bit.

I included a picture that contrasts the color of the shrug with a pure white fox fur. Keep in mind this photo is in bright light and showing a direct contrast.

The shrug will appear white in darker lighting contrasted with darker colors. Another reason the mink will not appear "pure white" is the slight natural browns and grays from the mink fur itself.

Still more "white" than "off-white" according to my scale below. Length (base of collar to bottom hem). Width (outside shoulder to shoulder).

Armpit to Armpit (inside length). Sweep (hem circumference when closed). Sleeve (top of shoulder area to cuff).

Sleeve (base of collar to cuff). OVERALL SIZE (based on bust): One Size. X-Small: (Bust size) 32 in. Small: (Bust size) 36 in. Medium: (Bust size) 40 in. Large: (Bust size) 44 in. X-Large: (Bust size) 48 in. 2X-Large: (Bust size) 52 in.

3X-Large: (Bust size) 56 in. 10 - Brand New: Never worn, with or without tags. 9 - Like New: Only worn a few times, in mint condition. 8 - Outstanding: Well maintained, pelts soft and supple, no signs of wear.

7 - Excellent: A few small flaws apparent only on close inspection, known only by the wearer. 6 - Very Good: Perfectly wearable, though may have a few small visible flaws / imperfections. 5 - Good: Some wear to the fur and lining due to normal use. 4 - Fair: Still wearable, but signs of use more apparent. 3 - Poor: Significant wear and damage to the fur and lining. Ready to repurpose into teddy bears. 2 - Scrap: Cannot be repurposed due to heavy wear and damage. COLOR SCALE : 1 - White.

8 Very Dark Brown almost black. 9 Looks Black from a distance, very slight brown undertone in bright light. 10 Jet Black (may be either dyed or ranch). Fur coats do not come in standard sizes - each measures a little differently. Compare the measurements of this garment to another coat using a tape measure.

Furs should not fit too tightly - a little larger than your regular cloth jacket is fine. If the coat is close to your size, some easy and inexpensive adjustments can often be made to make a perfect fit. Hooks can be moved in or out an inch or two or more. Sleeves can sometimes be lengthened or shortened by a few inches if there is extra fur. The overall size is based on the bust size (see chart in image). The other critical size to measure for a good fit is the shoulder width - since it is harder to adjust. I'm looking to sell at a fair value.

Generally, the furs are priced at around 10-20% or less for what a similar new coat would cost, and around 50% the price you would find at a consignment shop. The biggest barrier for most shoppers is not being able to try the coat on. But if you are willing to take some measurements and compare them to the listing, you can save a lot and find a great deal!
